Brighton Grove Centre, Newcastle
As part of an exciting new venture between the NHS and Newcastle University, a new research campus is to be developed on the site of the old Newcastle general hospital.
As a key part of this campus, the Brighton Grove Centre is to be developed as a base for the majority of community health services in the locality.
The new centre will provide over 65,000 sq ft of mixed accommodation and features a ground floor ‘Health Mall' off which the many health services will be provided.
Additionally an NHS Walk-in Centre is planned along with a Food & Nutrition Centre, Diabetic Centre and Community Paediatrics to name just a few.
