Tuddenham Hall complex, Ireland

Tuddenham Hall, currently derelict, stands within outstanding countryside on the banks of a lough in County Westmeath, Ireland. The proposal is to fully restore the historic Hall, which will be the centrepiece of a new development that includes a hotel, conference and leisure facilities.

All new buildings will be set low in their surroundings to harmonise with the natural landscape, and the scheme will follow the contours of the lough's edge. In so doing, terraces and balconies will benefit from the magnificent, panoramic views afforded by the site.
