Sustainability at Potternewton Mount
In association with Jack Lunn Construction the project was to provide 20 new build semi-detached properties for Ridings Housing Association at Potternewton Mount, Leeds. Though the scheme employed a traditional palette of building materials, it is notable for the extensive use of roof-mounted photovoltaic cells, which constituted the largest installation in Yorkshire at that time. The Housing Association is running a long-term study to ascertain the environmental and financial impact of the panels, which were funded by Government grants.
