Solid Wood Solutions
On the 8th June, Smith Smalley Architects were pleased to support and exhibit at the Solid Wood Solutions Conference held at the Lowry, Manchester.
Smith Smalley's design capability promotes the use of sustainable solutions that make sense both commercially and environmentally, whilst satisfying the clients needs. Currently, we are working closely with our existing clients on engineered timber methods of construction. We are also at the leading edge of understanding new timber technologies coming to market and are discussing trials on a number of these products within the future build programme of several clients.
With a number of our key contacts speaking at the event: B&K Structures, Simons Construction and Tesco Stores, it was an obvious event for Smith Smalley to have an exhibition stand to discuss with potential clients and new suppliers our way forward and future drive towards the increased use of sustainable methods of construction.
Environmental initiatives are key to progressive building design solutions and Smith Smalley are proud to consider ourselves at the forefront of the use of timber within buildings.
