Ping European Headquarters given “Green Light”
Following SSA's successful planning application for the redevelopment of Ping's European Headquarters, the client now given the green light for the scheme to be constructed.
The scheme provides bespoke new office and visitor conference facilities along with a new "hub building" which provides a restaurant, lounge, IT area and "history wall" which will display the historical development of the ping golf brand.
The existing production building is to be re-clad to match the new buildings whilst the internal accommodation is to be rationalised and upgraded.
The proposals have been designed to include extensive sustainable technologies including, air source heat pumps, rainwater recycling, solar panels for hot water preheating and heat recovery supply and extract ventilation.
The scheme is due to start on site in may and will be completed in March 2012.
