£11m Development Officially Opened
Yorkshire Housing unveiled an innovative housing development in Kettlethorpe today. The £11m scheme at Sherwood Court comprises an extra-care scheme for the over 60s alongside 55 houses for sale and rent.
The extra-care development will enable older people to continue to live independently, with some wheelchair accessible apartments and large balconies to enable residents to sit outside.
The scheme has been developed with green concerns in mind and the properties benefit from systems such as rainwater recycling.
