Villages Near Whitby Benefit From Affordable Housing Scheme
Two housing schemes to provide much needed Affordable Housing will shortly commence construction in the North Yorkshire villages of Castleton and Danby, near Whitby.
Procured by Sanctuary Housing in co-operation with the Local Authority and funded by the Housing Corporation, each scheme comprises 6 dwellings with a mixture of 2 and 3 bedroom family accommodation for rent or discount sale.
Extensive public consultation was undertaken at feasibility stage to ensure the developments met local demand and the views of residents were incorporated in the design.
These projects reflect Smith Smalley's expertise in the design of cost effective affordable housing and continue a relationship with the client which exceeds 10 years.
